There are many short passages that are then followed by multiple choice questions. You will encounter writings on a variety of topics. The section is divided into two modules, each with 32 minutes and 27 questions.
The SAT tests your aptitude in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry & Trigonometry, and Problem-Solving & Data Analysis. There are two modules, each with 22 minutes and 35 questions.
Scores should be available online in roughly 13 days.
That’s highly unlikely. We will work with you in advance to practice relaxation to calm your nerves over test-taking. Take a deep breath. You can take the test over if need be.
There’s no magic number. You can take it as many times as you wish. Taking it twice—once in the spring of your junior year and once in the fall of your senior year—can be a good strategy. One caveat though to avoid lowering scores, it’s advisable not to continually take the test without working to improve skills in mastery of the content and adeptness at implementing test-taking strategies. Working with our tutors helps alleviate this problem as we focus on enhancing ability in both content proficiency and test-taking skills.
